There is a new Arsenal book being launched on August 12th, the day of Arsenal’s opening Premier League fixture against current champions Manchester City.
Many pieces and books have been written on the great Arsenal ‘Invincibles’ of the 2003/4 season, but there was a team that almost achieved it under George Graham, a decade or so before.
First-time author Dan Betts has painstakingly covered that almost perfect season in his new book, ‘Almost Invincible’ which is out on August 12th.
We spoke to Dan earlier in the week to find out more and he told us why the book came into existence.
