Arsenal will be looking to keep their hands on the top of the Premier League this weekend, although they will face a difficult challenge on Sunday if they are to accomplish that feat.
The Gunners head to Elland Road where they will play Leeds United on Sunday in one of the mid-afternoon kick off slots, although they will know that they will be heading into that game top as Manchester City do not play Liverpool until shortly after the final whistle in Yorkshire.
While many who offer free football tips will have tipped Arsenal to get the job done due to their recent form, the club will know that they will need to be at their very best once again to ensure they get a positive result.
The Gunners do head into this encounter with a lot of confidence, though, as they are coming off the back of a solid performance against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium last weekend, while they have continued to put together the results that they need in order to challenge for the UEFA Europa League this season.
Mikel Arteta’s side, though, will know that each game is different, and Leeds will make things extremely tough for the club when they visit. Jesse Marsch – who has recently come out and said the Spaniard is one of the most underrated coaches in the league – will set his team up to come out and attack from the oft, with his side looking to get the results that they need to climb the table.
The Whites are currently 14th in the table, but are experiencing a poor run of form and something that the Gunners could look to utilize to their advantage. Leeds have not won since their impressive 3-0 victory over Chelsea at Elland Road in August, with a defeat to Crystal Palace last time out.
Nonetheless, the fact that they had managed to beat the Blues at home is something that Arsenal will need to look out for, as it highlights just how dangerous the club can be when things are clicking and working out for them.
Arsenal, though, should be full of confidence ahead of the game and it would not be a surprise if they were to add another three points to their tally, thus keeping them top of the table.
Hopefully, Liverpool can do them a favor on Sunday, too, and widen the gap between the Gunners and the Citizens…
