Who are Manchester City?
Manchester City is an English football team based in Manchester founded in 1880.
The Citizens today is considered one of the greats in the country and Europe. but, this is something fresh since, in the past, the “citizen” team wasn’t one of the leading club in English football.
Before being known as Manchester City, the “citizen” club had two names. The first of those two was the St Marks ‘, the name with which the history of the whole of the city began. Under that name, they’d play for seven years and were renamed Ardwick Association Football Club in 1887.
Another seven years, they’d play under that title, finally becoming as it is today on April 16, 1894. The first stadium in their history was Hyde Road, followed by Main Road and the Etihad Stadium.
His first season in the top-tier of English football would occur in the 1898/1899 season. The Citizens would be for four years in the First Division English, proceeding in the first decline in its club history in the 1901/1902 season.
