Arsenal are looking to turn their season around after a port start and planning to add at least one more player before the summer transfer window ends on August 31.

The Gunners have lost both of their two Premier League games so far in 2021-22, sitting on the bottom of the league standings.

The North London giants have already spent £140million in the summer adding Ben White, Aaron Ramsdale, Martin Odegaard, Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Arsenal handed Aouar boost

Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar is reportedly available for an initial loan with an option to make his mover permanent next season.

It follows reports in France suggested that Lyon Sporting director Juninho has decided to sell several first-team players after the defeat to Angers and Aouar has been in the list.

At the time, according to The Sun, French giants were willing to accept as little as €20million (£17m) for the French midfielder.

Fiorentina finalised transfer of Torreira

Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has completed a move to Serie A outfits Fiorentina.

The Uruguayan has joined La Viola on loan for a fee of €1.5million (1.2m) fee, with an option to make his move permanent.

South American midfielder made his name at another Serie A club Sampdoria, he is now returning to the league after Unai Emery signed for £26million in 2018.

Willian’s agent speaks out about his clients future

Willian’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, that they are in talks with Brazilian club Corinthians.

The Telegraph recently claimed that Willian is on the brink of leaving the Gunners after just one year at the Emirates Stadium, which has now been confirmed by his agent.

Joorabchian said to Globo Esporte: “We’re looking forward to making this happen. For me, it’s very important to help as much as possible.”

The 33-year-old’s contract with the Gunners is set to be terminated, allowing the forward to leave the club for free and join the team he left in 2007.
