Arsenal starter their Premier League season with two defeats and continue with a victory in FA Cup against West Bromwich Albion side.
A hat-trick from Gabon international forward, Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and goals from Alexandre Lacazette Nicola Pepe and Bukayo Saka, secured a 6-0 win against The Baggies.
While this ruthlessly stunning win will be a huge confidence boost, however, the question marks still surrounding the future of Mikel Arteta.
However, there is still time for the Gunners to add to their team– Daily Mirror Sport looks at what could be happening before Transfer Deadline Day.
Aouar still a possible option
The Norht London giants are seemingly still on the lookout to strengthen their attacking options and Lyon’s Houssem Aouar still an option.
Links between Lyon star and Arsenal have been very strong for years, with the North London giants, even refusing to pay £53million for his services.
However they have not given up hope – and they could finally lure him at the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Fabrizio Romano tweeted: “Tottenham have been offered the chance of signing Houssem Aouar as new midfielder, Arsenal too”.
Arteta fully clarify Aubameyang’s future
After Aubameyang scored in a hattrick for Arsenal against West Brom Arteta decided to fully clarify Aubameyang’s future at the club.
“Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is our player and he will remain here,” Arteta bluntly said in the press conference ahead of the Manchester City clash.
The ex-Borussia Dortmund forward still has two years left on his current deal, however, his immense dip in form last campaign triggered a flurry of assertions suggesting the North London giants could be willing to part with the Gabon star.
Their opponents Manchester City were rumoured to have been considering a late bid for the 32-year-old forward after they saw their bid to sign Harry Kane collapse and they also missed out on signing Cristiano Ronaldo.
Arsenal planning move for Torino forward
Torino forward Andrea Belotti has emerged as a potential transfer target for Arsenal.
Reports from The Daily Mail are claiming that Euro 2020 winning forward could be on the Gunners radar as they look to add more firepower to their ranks.
Even though Martin Odegaard recently made a return to the Emirates for £30m, another attacking target seems to be on the radar of Mikel Arteta who has been under pressure after a poor start of the season.
The 27-year-old forward is valued at around £21m by Torino.
