
It has been a nightmare few weeks for Arsenal fans as they have lost all three games in the Premier League, it has been the worst start to a league season in more than 60 years.
The pressure is beginning to mount on Mikel Arteta, Arsenal have been the Premier Leauge team that spent most this summer, £140m on, Martin Odegaard Nuno Tavares, Sambi Lokonga, Ben White and Aaron Ramsdale, only one of whom Odegaard played against Man City in a 5-0 defeat.
Arsenal players have been linked with a departure from the Emirates Stadium before the transfer window ends and at least one player could arrive at the club.
Lyon ready to accept loan deal for Aouar
North London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal are in the race to sign Lyon playmaker Houssem Aouar
The Gunners had identified Aouar as a potential transfer target last summer, however, opted to spend their money on former Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey instead.
According to Get French Football News, Lyon are now ready to accept loan offer, though they claim that any deal should include an obligation to make his move permanent.
Willian’s possible exit confirmed by Arteta
Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Willian has held talks with Corinthians over a possible exit from the Emirates Stadium.
“We are having some conversations with him and the agent, and we are evaluating the position that we are in at the moment,” the Arsenal boss told the press.
If he leaves the club this summer, Willian would have spent only one season in North London jersey, in which he scored only one Premier League goal.
The Gunners head-coach, was pressed on why Brazilian forward’s form has seemingly abandoned him in an North London giants shirt, to which he responded: “I don’t know [why it hasn’t worked out for him here].
“At the moment he is an Arsenal player, and we are trying to get the best out of him while he is here. Anything different is just things that can happen.”
Ainsley Maitland-Niles on Everton’s radar
Arsenal 23-year-old star Ainsley Maitland-Niles could leave the club and sign for Premier League rivals, Everton.
Maitland-Niles first-team minutes has been limited at the club and he is thought to be keen on departing from the club.
According to The Daily Mail, Everton have already held talks with Arsenal chiefs over the idea of signing a 23-year-old star on a loan deal.
There has also been interesting from, Newcastle, Crystal Palace and Burnley but Everton are believed to be favourites.
